Pastoral care is an important aspect of life at Maronite College of the Holy Family. It underpins all we do, both within the classroom and outside. Pastoral care is a concern for the total wellbeing of students including their spiritual, physical and social needs.
At MCHF, Pastoral care implements programs and practices aimed at promoting and supporting wellbeing, the College ethos, and the climate and atmosphere in which students and staff learn and work. Pastoral Care impacts the structure, teaching styles and learning environments of all areas of the college. The program promotes a respectful, safe and healthy environment for the whole College community.
Pastoral Care also implies spiritual care and this is offered through reconciliation, prayer and participation in the Eucharistic Liturgies.
