In developing Teaching and Learning programs the Primary teachers follow the NSW Education Standards Authority in all Key Learning Areas.

The Key Learning Areas in the Primary Department are English, Mathematics, Human Society and Its Environment, Science and Technology, Personal Development/Health/Physical Education, Creative Arts with the additional Arabic, and Religion.

Homework at the College is compulsory from Kindergarten to Year 6 and is a valuable part of schooling. It allows students to practise and consolidate units of work taught in class. Through homework, students learn to develop skills in KLA content, organising time and establishing good habits of study, application and self-discipline.

The College makes every effort to meet the needs of every student. Student’s needs are identified through continual class and formal assessments. Students may participate in small group or individualized courses of instruction for EAL/D, Integration Support or Extension.
